Tee Ball Division

Coordinator   Nicky Riddile (Acting)   (604) 572-4338

T-ball is the entry level game for youth at Newton Baseball.  All players get to take the field and to bat.  There is no pitcher in T-Ball.  Instead, a batting Tee (thus the name for the division) is used and the play starts when the ball is hit off the Tee.  Play ends when the ball is returned to the person playing in the pitcher's position.  5 innings per game. There is a maximum of 5 runs per inning.  There are 50 feet between bases. No leadoffs are allowed.  No base stealing.

The t-ball games are played as follows. There are 5 runs per inning. The kids are to hit off the t at all times, If the kids are making plays and making outs then the runners are called out. You can play as many innings as you want. This is for your Saturday games.

Weekday program is the kids get to bat twice and then they rotate. No outs are called because we want them to learn to run the bases. The kids are to hit off the tee. All practices start at 6:00 pm. Thank you all for your help. Nicky
