The New NCCP Program
There are 5 levels of Certification for coaches in Canada.
NCBA will concentrate on the first 2 levels
First Level
Level I Certification has 3 components
a) Theory I called "Introduction to Competition Part A"
b) Tech 1/ called "Initiation Coach Program" has 2
components
1. - An on line training program
done through Baseball BC
(Contact Garry Sass for access code to bypass $37.45 charge from NCCP
2. - A 4 - 5 hour on field training
session.
Note - Online must be completed before field training
c) Practical I
This is where the coach has actually
coached on the field for a season.
Once a coach has done all the components for Level 1 they are now certified
Level I.
Second Level
Level II Certification has 3 components
a) Theory II called "Introduction to Competition Part B"
b) Technical II
- an 8 hour on field training
session.
c) Practical II

Once a coach has finished all 3 components of Level II they are then
certified Level II complete.
NOTE: (a) It usually takes 2 - 3 year to complete the two levels.
(b) in both the Tech I /Initiation Coach Program and the Level
II Tech the coach has to register online through Baseball BC "Coaching
Clinics Posted"

Attention Coaches
The Enter Score facility has recently been getting extra updates which make the
standings information incorrect.
The problem is caused when, during the update process, the Update
Score button is clicked a second time.
The system response time will depend on the speed of your modem, the traffic
over the internet and on our server at that time. It can take as much as
4 seconds for your page to refresh, so please be patient and DO
NOT click the Update button more than once when entering a
score.
Also, just a reminder to confirm the final score with the other team before
using the system to do the update. There has been some feedback that a
game score was believed to be, for example, 5 - 3 and not 6 - 4 as was
posted, which upsets some scorekeepers.
