Concession
Concession Volunteer Rules
In order to qualify for a refund on your volunteer fee for the season, you must
work 2 concession shifts per family (one shift = 3 hours; 2 shifts= 6 hours.)

For safety reasons, there can be a maximum of 6 parents in the concession for
any shift. If you need more times, there are make up times available, and out
concession manager will be able to get your time in.

There are no exemptions this year. All parents who have registered children and
have submitted a deposit cheque for concession duty must work concession times
to avoid cashing of the deposit cheque.

No split shifting per family. (one parent in for one half and one in for the
other half shift)

No split shifting per team. (one group of parents covering one half and one
group covering the other)

Two family members in at one time constitutes one shift.

You may be required to work more than 2 shifts if you are involved in Hosting
Tournaments such as the Ross, Cook or the Provincial Tournament. Members
may arrange to work shifts in the concession at their convenience if they
cannot make their team's scheduled appointments. They must preschedule with the
Concession Managers first.

Any teams not able to provide enough parents for their
scheduled shifts, (minimum 4) must notifty the concession manager at least a
week in advance so that we can make an effort to find replacements

Concession Schedule (2006) - April is now complete -
report any problems to the Concession Manager
The concession opens daily 30 minutes prior to the first scheduled game
and remains open until the finish of the last game of the evening. We
require a minimum of 4 volunteers in the concession for each shift. The
concession schedule has been updated to give each team now TWO dates for
concession duty. If you cannot attend either of your
team's scheduled dates, You must sign-up for an
available time by visiting the concession stand and asking for the sign-up
sheet.
