    Winter Clinics Starting!

Well the World Series is almost upon us, so that must mean it’s  time to starting thinking about our winter clinics - because there is no off-season in Baseball!  Spring will be here before we know it, so let’s ensure we’re ready.

The winter clinics will be held in the gym at MB Sanford Elementary near 72nd and 144th St., sessions will run around 60-90 minutes and start next week, October 24th.

Mosquito A and Pee Wee A Clinics: will be combined this year. open to all new or returning Newton players born 2005 to 2008 the session will be from 7:00 - 8:30 Thursday evenings. These sessions will be coached by Rob Johnstone.

Pee Wee AA Clinics: are for players that want to train at more competitive level in preparation to play rep baseball on a AA/AAA team during the upcoming spring and summer seasons and are born in 2005 or 2006. All players that want to play at a competitive level are encouraged to come out for the sessions Oct - Dec. Jan - Mar will be by invitation, as we will be ramping up the intensity and starting to form the AA team. Sessions will be from 8:00 - 9:30 Tuesday evenings starting Tuesday, October 24th. These sessions will coached by Coaches Brad Swart and Dave Ouellette. Both Brad and Dave welcome any help from parents that are interested.

Bantam AA Clinics: Likewise these clinics are for players born in 2003 or 2004 that want to train at more competitive level in preparation to play rep baseball on a AA/AAA or team during the upcoming season (this division plays a single season during the spring and summer). All players that want to play at a competitive level are encouraged to come out for the sessions Oct - Dec. Again, Jan  - Mar will be by invitation, as we will be ramping up the intensity and starting to form the AA team. Sessions will be from 8:30 - 10:00 Thursday evenings starting Thursday, October 26th. The cost for Pee Wee AA and Bantam AA is $50 for the balance of Oct, Nov and Dec. Details for the new year will be provided by the coaches and the NCBA
