Playoffs

Overview

There are no playoffs for Blastball, and Tball.

Playoffs for Mosquito through Midget AA will be a double-knockout format, which means you must lose two games to be knocked out of playoff contention. These draws are are now complete and can be viewed by clicking the links below. All game dates, fields are TBC (to be confirmed) after the participants in the game have been determined. Please check the page often for updates. The update time is printed at the top of the draw.  Important: Bantam and Midget, please confirm the park availability as posted below.

All teams make the playoffs, but are matched up in the first round based on standings at the end of the regular season.   The home team for each game is determined by the team who finished higher in the standings at the end of the regular season.  This applies even in the final game if the undefeated team in the playoffs finished behind the team advancing from bottom bracket.

Schedules

Schedules will be updated daily as results come in.   For this reason, it is very important for coaches to report scores as soon after the game as possible.  Coaches can use the same score update facility as they have used during the regular season.  The playoff chart will not, unfortunately, update automatically.  It will be updated manually as soon as possible each night.

In the interlock divisions, home field goes to the team with the better record during regular season play.  The exception to this is when two or more teams from the same association should be home team on a given round OR a game needs to be scheduled on a specific date and the only parks available must be used.  The highest placed team will get priority as schedule permits, and the other games will be played in the visiting team's home park.  The team who should have home field advantage will get last bats and should occupy the 3rd base dougout for the game.
