Registration for the 2008 season

Registration for the 2008 season will be held at the Surrey (Newton) Library Meeting Room, located at 13795 - 70th Ave. (just behind the wavepool),
January 20 Sunday 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
January 26 Saturday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

To register for 2008, you can download the registration form, complete the required information, print off the registration form, and bring it in to us during registration times. If you are unable to attend the registration, you can mail it along with the required cheques to:

There are 3 cheques required for registration:

  • Registration/Fund Raising Fee - in the amount appropriate for the division your child is in. See Fund raising and registration fee table below. This cheque should be dated with today's date. NOTE: Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are not able to accept payment by Interac or Visa/Mastercard at this time, cash or cheque only PLEASE!
  • Volunteer Fee - $100 per family dated for April 1, 2008. See Additional Fees; Volunteer/Concession below.
  • Uniform Deposit - $100 per player dated June 30, 2008. See Uniform Deposit below.

New Players to NCBA check if they are in the NCBA Catchment area before registering. There are 3 baseball associations in Surrey. Click here for a map.
REGISTRATION FEE: Rates include all tournament fees and team photograph. Family rate is available based on two oldest children. Registration available right up to opening day, however, you may be placed on a waiting list.
PROOF OF AGE: (copy of birth certificate) is required for any player not previously registered in our association.
EVALUATIONS: All Mosquito, Pee Wee, Bantam, and Midget players must attend evaluations for the division draft.

FUNDRAISING:     A $25 cheque MUST accompany this registration form. The registration form will be returned if fee is not included. Fundraising is not optional. (Fundraising Fees are waived for the Blastball Division

CONCESSION/VOLUNTEER FEE: A separate $100.00 cheque per family post dated April 1/08 must be submitted at the time of registration. It is mandatory that every family complete either 2 concession duties or their volunteer duty. This cheque will not be cashed unless the duties are not performed. If they wish not to do any concession/volunteer duties they have the option of paying $100.00 fee, which will be cashed April 1/08.
UNIFORM DEPOSIT: A separate $100.00 cheque per player post dated June 30/08 must be submitted at the time of registration. This cheque will not be cashed if your uniform is returned at the end of the season in clean and good condition.

Volunteers Needed

Newton Baseball Association is a volunteer organization. Please be ready to pitch in and help out. See the executive page for openings or contact your division coordinator or Garry Sass to volunteer as a coach or coach's assistant.

"Batter Up!" Kids' First Sports Consignment is back in your neighbourhood with the support of Newton Canadian Baseball. You can now outfit your growing children's needs at an affordable price.
